A Lithgow man who was caught driving while suspended until 2054 has been sentenced to jail.

Mario Burchevski, 32, will spend a minimum of six months in prison after facing Lithgow Local Court on March 28.
Well known to police as a habitual disqualified driver, Burchevski was stopped as he turned right onto Col Drewe Drive off the Great Western Highway on February 12 this year.
He explained to police that he was taking his mother to a doctor's appointment.
Burchevski was arrested and taken to Lithgow Police Station. According to court documents, since November 2011, he has had no fewer than 13 convictions for driving while disqualified.
His licence has been suspended for a further nine months and he will be eligible for release on August 11, 2019. His full jail term is nine months.
Drug driving
Fairfield man Masin Murad Ali was convicted for driving with an illicit drug in his system.
The 32-year-old was pulled over on the Great Western Highway on October 6, 2018 and returned a positive roadside drug test to methylamphetamine and THC (a cannabinoid).
He was fined $550 and disqualified from driving for three months.
Damage
A Katoomba man was ordered to complete 50 hours of community service and serve out an 18-month community corrections order in Lithgow Local Court on March 28.
Jamie Tepania, 28, was found guilty of damaging property.
Charges were laid after Tepania visited the home of his ex-partner in Lithgow on November 23, 2018. The woman returned home to find a plastic window pane missing next to her rear door and items had been removed.
She contacted police and then, the court heard, she saw Tepania walking away from the home. As he did, he snapped off several wooden fence post railings.
Drug charge
A police patrol of the Main Street footpath near Tattersals Hotel on December 3, 2018, resulted in a drug supply charge.
Lithgow man Joshua Martin Tumlos, 30, was charged with supplying a small quantity of a prohibited drug after police saw him pass a small resealable plastic bag containing cannabis to another man about 11.30am.
Tumlos was placed on a 12 month Community Corrections Order in Lithgow Local Court on March 28.
