Oldfield has shot rounds of 70 and 66 for a total of 136 compared to Burton's 70, 67, 137.
This is great scoring by the pair considering that the course copped a massive storm the night before which made the fairways and rough extremely hard to play off with the majority of the field struggling.
Both also figure in the handicap section with Andrew Burton leading on 139 nett, Oldfield 140 and Travis Cameron 141.

In B grade, Frank Mantle on 159, (79/80) holds a five shot lead over Rob Hawes and Greg Jackson who trail on 164.
The handicap section sees newcomer Blake Bender leading on 135 nett, followed by Frank Mantle 139 and Greg Jackson 140.
C grade is also interesting with the inform golfer in this grade over the past month Robert "Darky" Millar heading the grade with 92, 102 for 193.
Millar leads by 10 from Gary Marshall on 104, 100 for 204.
Marshall leads in the handicap section on 151 nett from Millar on 155 and Alex Dengate 159 nett.
The final two rounds will be played next weekend (March 30 and 31) with all three grades throwing up some great finishes and the club would again like to thank Westfund for their continued support.
