Two people will be facing charges after a vehicle was searched on the Great Western Highway in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The vehicle was travelling on the Great Western Highway at 3.15am on Wednesday, March 20. It was stopped and searched.
The passengers, a 37 year-old man and 21 year-old woman, were both arrested under the suspicion they were in possession of a prohibited drug.
Police allegedly located a small quantity of a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and 28 grams of cannabis.
The man was taken to Lithgow Police Station and charged with two counts of drug possession, failure to produce a licence and using offensive language in a public place.
The woman was also taken back to the station for further inquiries. She was charged with hindering police. They will face court at a later date.
Possession of prohibited substance
A 47 year-old Oberon man was stopped driving by police on Jenolan Caves road at 10pm on Monday, March 18.
A quantity of a powdered substance believed to be cocaine was located in the centre console of the vehicle.
The man was arrested and taken back to Lithgow Police station where he was charged with possession of an indictable quantity of prohibited drugs. He was bailed and is to appear before Lithgow Local Court at a later date.
