The Hampton local previously entered Rydal's senior Showgirl competition and decided to give the junior competition a go in Lithgow.

"I was pretty confident in entering teen showgirl due to my agricultural background and I like to get involved in the community, I've also participated in the Young Rural Achievers at Bathurst Show," she said.

Miss Arpasi also said she would like to see more cattle and young competitors involved in the Lithgow Show in the future.

"I think we need to get more young people involved in the farmers challenge and just in the show in general," she said.

Only two competitors entered the competition with Shakaya Bott named as Lithgow's runner up teen Showgirl who also impressed the judges.
