Valley's bowling attack cut a swathe through Hotel's top order and destroyed their chance of hitting the total needed to take the win.
The minor premiers got off to a good start, with a half century to opener Ben Sheehan and 25 to Nick Miller.
The team set a total of 5-136.
Blake Caldwell was the best of Hotel's bowlers (2-21). Wickets also went to Brandan Horner and Steve Cronin.
Hotel's batsmen found it very tough going. Opener Mikk Mlanric and number three batsmen Matt Dickson fell for no score, and then number one Jon Cronin was caught out for eight runs.
Kobe Hunter, who has had some big hits recently, followed his teammates into the duck pond.
Blake Caldwell top scored on 28 as the team ended up all out for 81.
Valley's Nick Miller took four wickets for just 10 runs, with support from Aron Crowder (2-12), Nic Kenniff (1-31), Chris Giugni (1-21) and Juzen Takahira (1-0).
Hampton v Lidsdale
Lidsdale won its semi-final match against Hampton on Saturday, March 9, with a joint batting effort getting them over the line.
Fazell Tariq got Hampton off to a flying start, putting on 51 before he was run out.
Fellow batsmen Rob Arnott (30) and Jarod Duff (24) contributed as the team made 165.
Brayden McCann (3-35) and Nick Bender (3-14) were the best of the Lidsdale bowlers, with wickets also going to Harry Bender and Brendan Roach.
Lidsdale built their chase steadily. No individual batsman was able to better Tariq's 51 but the team pieced together a successful run chase.
Phil Wright top-scored on 48, with Harry Bender close behind on 37. Blake and Nick Bender both scored 22.
Portland 1 v La Salle 1
Portland's match against La Salle was washed out just after 3pm on Saturday after a cloud burst.
Dave Glasson made a good start for the La Salle team, making 52 before he was bowled by Stephen Bender.
He enjoyed a reunion with his old teammate Richard Sharp (26).
Portland's wickets went to D Scott and Stephen Bender (2).
DUCK POND
A trio of Lithgow Hotel 1's batsmen found themselves in the duck pond; Mikk Mlanric, Matt Dickson and Kobe Hunter.
Hampton's Ryan Bilby, Alan George and Ken Allen were taken out for no score on Saturday. Lidsdale's Emmett Freeman was also out for zero.
Malik Khawaja was the best of Hampton's bowlers (3-28), with wickets also claimed by Mick Byrne (2-19), Rob Arnott, Fazell Tariq, Ryan Bilby and Saif Khan.
La Salle's Richard Wheeler and Anthony Brown went for quackers just before their game against Portland 1 was washed out.
