They will be offering joy flights again for $50 for five minutes in the air.
Capertee Valley Helicopters chief pilot Mark Lilley said last year's show was quiet to start off with but once it got going, it went crazy.
"Everyone we took up last year just couldn't believe what they were seeing, a lot of people said 'Wow we didn't know Lithgow looked like this'," he said.
Mr Lilley also said it was an opportunity to get a taste of what a helicopter was like.
"You get about five minutes in the air so that takes about 10 minutes by the time you load and unload and you get to go up over Lithgow, you can see all over the Zig Zag Railway and all down Hartley, back out to Wallerawang and all around Katoomba," he said.
He also said once people experience that, they tended to come out to Capertee for a fly around the Valley.

Mr Lilley also said the flight would be in the Bell 47 which takes two passengers and the pilot.
"It's a full bubble, you get a 180 degree view, it uses about 80 litres of fuel an hour and is 10 years old and perfectly safe," he said.
Mr Lilley also said helicopters were the only way to travel and the flights here were spectacular.
"I reckon, until you go flying you don't realise... I dunno how to describe it, it's like you're just floating along free.
"People don't realise we've got the best scenery in Australia, possibly the best in the world and no one notices it, so come for a flight," he said.
"Even people you take for a flight that have been here for several years they're just blown away by the sights," he said.
Flights will be in operation from 2pm Friday until last light and from 10am on Saturday at the Lithgow Show, March 15-16.
