Oldfield has consistently shot under par each week and again on Saturday tore up the course to post a six under par 66.
This was a great score considering that there were no preferred lies off the fairways making for some tough shots.
Defending champion Andrew Burton is a tough competitor and plays the big events well. He can’t be counted out along with a number of other low markers.
There will be some great tussles in all three grades which should be extremely interesting.
