A Portland man has been sentenced to serve out an Intensive Correction Order in the community after he was found guilty of affray in Lithgow Local Court on February 28.

Bryce Thomas James Sloane, 26, was also found guilty of resisting an officer in the execution of their duty.
The court heard police were leaving the Commercial Hotel at Wallerawang after a routine inspection at about 11.20pm on August 26 last year when they heard yelling coming from inside.
Several people were coming out the pool room area with blood on them.
CCTV footage showed that a fight broke out between several patrons, including Sloane. When he was informed he was under arrest, the court was told Sloane ran out the establishment and off the property. He was later charged, as were others involved in the fight.
Wrong pub
A Lake Illawarra man has been convicted of assault, after forcing his way into the Court House Hotel on December 4, 2017, in the belief that it was his accommodation.
Lithgow Local Court heard Phillip James Sharp, 55, was staying at the Grand Central Hotel. He stepped out to get some fresh air at about 9.15pm and attempted to re-enter the Court House Hotel by mistake, believing it was where he was staying.
The pub was shut for renovations at the time, but people were inside. When those inside heard the banging on the door, they opened it and Sharp attempted to force his way inside.
He left the premises. One of the people who had been inside the hotel followed him. The court heard the man who followed him was assaulted, resulting in a nasal bone fracture.
He was sentenced to serve out an Intensive Correction Order in the community.
Choking assault
A Kingswood man was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service after choking a woman. He will also serve out an 18-month Community Corrections Order.
Bobby Brackenrig, 21, was convicted of intentionally choking a person in Lithgow Local Court on February 28. The offence, a domestic assault, occurred at Portland on December 28.
A police statement of facts to the court stated the choking lasted approximately five seconds and left the victim with red marks around her throat.
Assault
A Bowenfels woman was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Lithgow Local Court on February 28.
The court heard Angel-Lee Burns, 24, had punched a woman in the face in an argument over a bum bag at 4am on January 26.
She was sentenced to serve out a 14 month Community Corrections Order.
Stealing
Belleena Randall, 44, of Lithgow was fined $500 in Lithgow Local Court on February 21 after being found guilty of larceny.
It was heard that Randall made no attempt to pay for $684 in goods from the Coles supermarket in Lithgow on December 28 last year.
The trolley included an extensive array of body products, as well as meat, salads and chocolate.
Drink driving
A Bowenfels man has been ordered to install an interlock device in his car for two years, lost his licence for six months and will serve out a two year Community Corrections Order after being found guilty of drink driving.
Glenn Raymond Homan, 33, was charged after he was pulled over at 12.05am on October 14 last year and returned a breath analysis of 0.158.
Damage poker machine
Lidsdale man Damien Allen Jones, 28, was fined $500 for punching a poker machine at the Castlereagh Hotel in Dubbo on December 1 last year.
He was found guilty of intentionally or recklessly damaging property in Lithgow Local Court on February 28.
The court heard the machine was left unplayable after Jones punched the touch screen display at about 12.20am.
Drive suspended
Littleton man Damian Hewitt, 36, was disqualified from driving for six months and ordered to serve out a 12-month Community Corrections Order for two counts of driving while suspended.
The offences occurred on Lithgow's Main Street at 11pm on January 1 and Musket Parade on December 28.
Drive without licence
Littleton man Dylan Furner, 23, was fined $600 in Lithgow Local Court on February 21 for driving without ever having held a licence. The offence occurred on December 19 at Lithgow. He has also been disqualified from driving for three months.
A 61-year-old Oberon woman was also found guilty of driving without ever having held a licence in Lithgow Local Court on February 21.
Elva Stanley was fined $500 after she was pulled up at a random breath test station at Kelso on December 31.
Drug possession
Cobar Park man John McKinnon, 34, was fined $500 after he was found in possession of a small amount of cannabis in Lithgow on January 12 this year.
