Lithgow Swimming Club took an elite squad of young talents to the Country Championships held at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre from February 22-24.

Lithgow Swimming Club head coach Craig McManus said all the members that went away swam really well.
"Every swimmer on the big stage either did an individual PB [personal best], swam a PB in a relay or contributed to the relay team swimming a PB," he said.

He said it was a great effort from a relatively small club compared to the bigger squads in areas like Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra and the Central Coast.
Congratulations to swimmers Alysha Connor, Emily Dean, Mia Dunleavy, Alex Evans, Paige Field, Amy Kennedy, Elka Lee, Logan McManus, Tyler McManus, Yasmine Turner, Angus Warne, Bridget Warne, Jacob Wilson and Jessica Wilson.
Squad members now have their eye on the NSW Junior State Age Championships coming up on March 30 and 31 at SOPAC.
