A report to officers attached to the Chifley Police District says that a Trac Star 900 fusion welding machine was stolen from a property at Wallerawang.
"The theft occurred sometime after 6.30pm on February 18 and 6am the following morning," officers said in a statement.
"The machine was stolen from a Brays Lane address."
Police have released an image (above) of a similar make and model.
