Police stated the woman was using the automatic teller at St George Bank at about 7.30am on February 15 and her card was not returned.
Angry, the woman began to bang on the door of the bank, which was not due to open until after 9am, and reportedly yelled abuse and threats to an employee inside.
The bank employee, who was inside the locked office, was able to retrieve the card but would not open the doors and contacted police. The card was returned to the woman, who was fined for offensive behaviour.
