The highlight of the day was a six under par 66 returned by plus golfer Bill Oldfield. He sizzled over the first nine with a five under par 31 and then played a solid one under par over the final nine.
Oldfield has been the dominant golfer over the past couple of months and has been consistently shooting under par.
The best net score in A grade went to Max Nightingale, another golfer who has hit good recent form. The champion left hander finished with 41 points with the runner up Justin Nelson finishing with 40 points on a countback.
Dave Hicks was best in B grade with 43 points with the runner up voucher going to Greg Jackson on 40 points on a countback.

Robert ‘Darky’ Millar wearing his burglar mask amassed a great score of 42 points to win C grade with Brad Preston runner up on 41.
Winner Robbie Millar playing some scintillating golf also shot the best scratch in C grade with a well compiled 87.
Nearest to the pins went to Tony Potts, Tom Jennings, Ross Harrington, Dave Titcume and Warren Kennedy.
Balls cut out on 38 points and better.
This Saturday, February 16) members will contest a two ball aggregate with a single stableford held in conjunction.
The Friday 9 hole competition was dominated by the Egan brothers with Cooper taking out the winning voucher with 29 points while his younger brother Tallon was runner up on 28 points.
Balls cut out on 26 points.
