Severe heatwave conditions extend across much of NSW, with localised areas of extreme heatwave in south-east NSW.
Temperatures are predicted to rise as high as 43 degrees in: Dubbo, Forbes, Grenfell and Young.
It will reach 42 in Cowra, Parkes and Wellington, and 41 in Nyngan.
The mercury will be slightly cooler in Bathurst and Mudgee (39) and Oberon (38).
While the coolest places to be on Tuesday will be Blayney, Lithgow and Oberon which have a top of 35 degrees.
The Bureau of Meteorology predict temperatures right across the region will increase by another couple of degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.
