Golfers are appreciating the covering of grass on the fairways which is starting to come back thanks to the recent rain falls and hot weather.
John Chadwick made good use of the conditions to amass a personal score of 44 points, only three points short of the winning two ball score.
Chadwick who plays off single figures is very consistent and is strong in all facets of the game.
The two ball saw a count-back between the ultimate winners Michael Bennett and Brock Egan and runners up Ross Harrington and Paul Bailey when both teams finished with 47 points.
It’s been a couple of good weeks for Brock who was also on the winners list last week.
Best scratch scores in each grade were: A, Bill Oldfield 72 ocb; B, Gary Keen 78 and C Ben Oldfield 86.
Nearest the pin winners were Greg Hunter, Greg Jackson, Don Lovett, Bill Oldfield and Tom Jennings.
Those teams to figure in the ball competition were Mark Willmott and Ben Oldfield, Max McCann and Don Lovett, John Chadwick and Clint Rochester, Tallon Egan and Dave Thompson, Max Nightingale and Bob Charlton and Rob George and Justin McCann.
Balls cut out on 45 ocb.
