Lithgow City Council has received the concept design technical report for the Cullen Bullen Sewerage Scheme.
The concept design process is being undertaken by council to provide a preliminary layout for infrastructure and to ensure the scheme will have as little impact on residents and property whilst still being able to serve the desired purpose.
Whilst a location for the sewerage treatment plant has not been finalised yet, the preliminary reticulation layout has been created for the township.
This will allow residents of Cullen Bullen the opportunity to review and provide comment on the proposed concept design.
Some properties within the town have been identified as requiring reticulation to be constructed through private property for the system to function efficiently and enable all existing properties to be connected.
As council moves toward finalising the concept design further consultation will be had with those property owners who may be affected.
All residents and property owners in Cullen Bullen should have received a letter with a concept plan included, so if you are a resident or property owner and have not received this information contact council or go to www.haveyoursay.lithgow.com to access the full report.
To provide the community with further information Lithgow Council will be a holding a community information session on Tuesday, January 15 at the Cullen Bullen Progress Association Hall starting at 5pm to discuss the progress and gain feedback from the residents on the concept design.
