After all, he came home with a silver medal from the Worldskills Australia National Championships earlier this year. 

But Lithgow High School is celebrating after it was revealed Zac finished second across the state. 

And it’s not just Zac’s results they are celebrating, with many outstanding results coming out today (Friday, December 14) with the release of the ATARS (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank). 

Hayley Robson achieved an outstanding result with an ATAR of 94.2.

In a statement, the school said this result was a reflection of Hayley’s work ethic and commitment to her studies.

Hayley is planning to study a double degree in Engineering (honours) Genetics at ANU of Canberra.

“I have worked hard but I have to give credit to the amazing teachers and the wonderful support network the school has provided us,” Hayley said. 

“I am proud of all year 12 and their amazing achievements, I wish them luck in the next chapter and can’t wait to see what the future brings.”

Another outstanding result was from Perri Gibbons, receiving 93.2 ATAR. Perri has been offered a position to study a double degree in Business and Marketing at CSU Bathurst.

Zac Stanford, with a top score of 94 in his Construction HSC examination has placed second in the state for this course, an absolutely outstanding achievement.

Zac is considering his options with Universities he is hoping to study Engineering.

Eilia Keyhanee received 90.65 and has been accepted to study Computer Science at UNSW

Orla McKinney, 90.1. Orla will take a gap year to travel and consider her options on her return.

All of these top students have expressed their gratitude their Year Adviser, Mr Dunn, along with all of their teachers at Lithgow High School for their support and guidance. 

Other outstanding ATAR results included:

Ann Caro, Lithgow High School principal, congratulated all of the students on their successful completion of the HSC.

“It was really pleasing to see all of the happy students today knowing they had reached their full potential,” she said.
