Hampton v La Salle 2
A team batting effort spearheaded by Matt Palmer (80*) and Soif Khan (50) led Hampton to victory on Saturday, December 8 over La Salle 2.

La Salle looked set for a win after a century from Luke Thompson, who finished on 107* (not out).
Peter Morris also made his mark with 56 runs, helping the final total along to 5-198.
The bowlers were finding it tough going, with Matt Palmer the best (2-20) and wickets also going to Khawaja Malik and Soif Khan.
The La Salle bowlers did not find it any easier, struggling to slow down a joint effort from the Hampton batsmen. As well as the big totals from Khan and Palmer, the very consistent Fazeel Tariq made a handy 23, with Matt Tuxford contributing 18.
The team finished on 5-206.
Wickets went to Robert Spillane (2-34), Peter Morris (1-18), Chris Isley (1-18) and Luke Thompson (1-64).
Valley 1 v Lidsdale
Valley 1 was just too strong for Lidsdale on Saturday, taking a big win.
Ben Sheehan top-scored for Valley in the opening spot (77), with support from Eli Felton (44) and Nic Kenniff (33*).
The team finished on 7-212.
The Lidsdale attack missed Dom Dellabosca, out with injury. Jamie Giokaris took 2-34, while wickets also went to Sam Giokaris, Logan Ward and Ethan Achurch.

In reply, Lidsdale found the going tough, with opener Brendan Roach top-scoring on 17. The team collapsed to all out for 72.
Valley 1 bowler Nick Miller finished with 4-17, while L Miller took 3-17. Chris Giugni and Eli Felton each claimed one scalp.
Hartley v La Salle 1
It was a close one, but La Salle Hornet’s number one team came out ahead of Hartley.
Richard Wheeler top-scored on 35 for La Salle, with solid scoring from Brendon Lloyd (20), Josh Amos (16) and Todd Walsh (18).
The team finished on 133.
Hartley bowlers Warren Stevens (3-10) and Shorn Holt (3-21) were the the top performers, with wickets to Mitch Blanchard (2-33) and Josh Blanchard (1-28).
Josh Blanchard made a stand for Hartley with 46 runs, assisted by Warren Stevens (17) but too many wickets fell cheaply and the team finished on 123.
Todd Walsh did plenty of damage with the ball for La Salle, taking 4-15. Lachlan Brown and David Wheeler took two wickets each, with one going to Will Brown and Jordan Smith.
Portland 1 v Lithgow Hotel 2
No runs were lost as Portland mowed down the Housos’ total on Saturday.
The Hotel team was all out for 53 after Stephen Sellers top-scored on 17.
It was a game for the fielders, with seven batsmen caught out.
Portland’s Steve Bender removed the tail end, taking a total of four wickets in the game. Fellow bowler Shane Green (3-5) were also finding the mark.
Bender backed up with the bat, leading the chase with 46*, assisted by Shane Doohan (13*).
None of Lithgow Hotel’s bowlers were able to make a mark and Portland 1 ran out the easy winners.
Lithgow Hotel 1 v Valley 2
Lithgow Hotel’s No 1 team had more luck against Valley 2.
A five-haul bowling attack from Hotel’s Jon Cronin ensured it was a low scoring affair.
Opener Lou Kappos (30*) hung in throughout Valley’s innings, but ran out of dance partners as they quickly fell. Sam Johnson (16) was the only other batsman to make a mark.
The innings finished on 68.
Cronin was the best of the bowlers (5-22), along with Kev Horner (3-11) and Steve Cronin (2-7).
In reply, Jon Cronin got the chase off to a good start before he was caught off the bowling of Graeme Bell for 20 runs. Kobe Hunter top-scored on 39. The Hotel team finished on 3-72.
Wickets went to Valley 2’s Sam Johnson and Graeme Bell.
The Duck Pond
Lithgow Hotel 2’s Nicole Woollsey was unlucky at the tail-end, caught out for no runs.
Valley 2’s Tyler Buck was out for no score, joined in the pond by Jarrod Inzitari, who was taken for a golden.
Lithgow Hotel’s Mitch Brain was out for a quacker off Sam Johnson’s bowling.
La Salle 2’s opener Chris Isley was unlucky, taken for a duck in the opening stages of his match against Hampton.
La Salle 1’s Lachlan Brown was bowled for a duck by Hartley’s Mitch Blanchard.
Lidsdale’s Emmett Freeman was dismissed with no score lbw, joined by Max Dellabosca in the pond, who was run out.
