A Lithgow woman faced Lithgow Local Court on November 22, charged with two counts of driving while her licence was disqualified and one count of assaulting a police officer.
Keren Louise Fittler, 37, pleaded guilty to the charges.
The first driving disqualified charge was laid when she was pulled over for a random breath test on January 25. Fittler was already banned from driving until 2021.
Fittler was charged with a second count of driving while disqualified on March 13 after she was seen driving to Lithgow Hospital. The court heard police were called after Fittler became abusive to staff at the hospital when she could not find her mobile phone after visiting the premises.
She was arrested a little after 8am and had a bail hearing at Lithgow Local Court at 3.30pm that afternoon. The assault charge related to Fittler kicking out at officers as they attempted to remove a cord from her jumper while in a caged vehicle at the court house.
Fittler was disqualified for six months for the first count and 12 months for the second count of driving disqualified. She was also placed on a two year community corrections order.
A Lithgow woman was found guilty of intentionally or recklessly damaging property in Lithgow Local Court on November 22.
