Rhonda Collins and Debbie Cooper held a charity Melbourne Cup luncheon at the Commercial Hotel on Tuesday, November 6, raising $560.
All the proceeds made from the day were given to Lithgow Hospital.
The day saw 45 guests participate in games, best dressed contests, horse shoe toss and more fun activities.
“It was a great day with lots of fun being had,” organiser Rhonda Collins said.
“We just want to thank Owen, Lena and Stacey and all the staff from the Commercial Hotel for supporting this day.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, we hope you had a great time.”
Lithgow Hospital general manager Jill Marjoram said the donation was kindly appreciated.
“We appreciate any kind of donation from the community and this money will be used wisely,” she said.
