Investigations are ongoing into the cause of a single vehicle crash at Wallerawang on Saturday, November 17.
A 39-year-old Wallerawang man was riding a Triumph motorcycle west on Hartley Valley Road at 7pm when it skidded off the road and hit an embankment.
The rider, who was not wearing gloves, suffered injuries to his fingers in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Lithgow Hospital for treatment.
Drug charge
A Dubbo woman, 39, has been charged with attempting to smuggle a drug into a place of detention.
The charges were laid after a drug detection dog indicated the woman was in possession of drugs when she entered Lithgow Correctional Centre to visit an inmate at 12pm on Saturday, November 17.
She was separated from the other visitors and it is alleged she was in possession of 65 buprenorphine strips which had been put inside a balloon and hidden.
