That’s the question doing the rounds this week, with many wise heads agreeing that it’s at least the lowest anyone can remember.
Valley 2 finished on 7-9, with a four way tie for top score going to the opening four batsmen, who all scored two runs each.
It was easy pickings for La Salle’s Todd Walsh (4-6) and Anthony Brown (3-3).
In reply, La Salle's Jai Gillespie knocked a single and a 6, while Adam Lewis scored 3 to take a win with just 10 runs.
Lidsdale v Portland 1
It was a cracking contest when Lidsdale and Portland met on Saturday, with Portland claiming the win.
Phil Wright (30) and Tony Dellabosca (29) opened the scoring for Lidsdale and, while there was a mid-order collapse, Jamie Giokaris fought back with 40 to help the team to 139.
Portland’s Isaac Fardell and Luke Barnes shared in the bowling spoils with three wickets each. Steve Bender claimed two and Shane Green one.
A half century to Sam Cameron (57) and 35 not out to Brendon Miles helped to set up the succesful Portland run chase.
Lidsdale’s Dom Dellabosca did his part to halt the chase with 4-37. He was assisted by Blake Bender and Emmett Freeman, who both took one wicket.
Lithgow Hotel 2 v Hampton
Hampton bowler Matt Palmer’s 5-14 was instrumental is securing a win in their match against Lithgow Hotel 2.
Palmer was on the attack early but Lithgow Hotel’s middle order combined to help set a total of 96. Jason Murray (23) and Dan Hine (35) were the best with the bat for Hotel.
Rob Gracey joined the bowling attack, taking two wickets, with Saqlaiz Qasim, Ryan Bilby and Mohammed Nawaz each taking a scalp.
In reply, a half century to Fazeel Tariq and 44 to Jared Duff set up the win. Each were caught out, Tariq off Dan Hine’s bowling and Duff off Andrew Hazel.
Portland 2 v Valley 1
A half century by tail-ender Blake Todd saved Portland 2 from posting a very ordinary total on Saturday.
He topped scored on 55 not out after the first eight batsmen were dismissed for a total contribution of 22, including one golden quacker.
Valley bowler Nic Kenniff made hay with 4-17, with wickets also Chris Giugni (2-30) going to Nic Miller, Ben Sheehan and Andrew Fawbert.
The team finished on 90 and Valley 1 made a quick chase. Eli Felton (43*) and Nick Miller (21*) combined well to reach 93 with the loss of four wickets.
Wickets went to Portland’s Peter Bourke (2-26), Brayden McCann and Troy Chalmers.
Lithgow Hotel 1 v La Salle 2
Lithgow Hotel’s Mitch Brain (41*) wasted no time going after the target of 70 set by the La Salle Hornets.
Geoff Thompson top scored for the Hornets on 27, with four batsmen falling without making a score.
Brock Barry was having plenty of fun at the bowling end, ending with the remarkable figures of 4-6.

Matt McManus and Matt Dickson both finished with two wickets, while Kobe Hunter and Kevin Horner took one each.
Lithgow Hotel lost two wickets in the chase, with scalps going to Connor Brown and Eli Morris.
The duck pond
Portland 1’s Ben Foodey was unlucky to be run out for a rare diamond duck. He was joined by teammate Shane Green in the duck pond – he went for a golden.
Lithgow Hotel 2 had some visitors to the duck pond on Saturday, with Sahail Seliya, B Sellers and Mitchell Thompson all dismissed without score.
Portland 2’s Dean Cornish was caught for a golden duck off the bowling of Valley 1’s Chris Giugni. He was joined by teammate Don Palmer, who was bowled by Nic Kenniff.
Valley 1’s Nick Miller was caught out for a golden duck off the bowling of Troy Chalmers.
La Salle Hornets 2 ended up with half their line-up in the pond (almost), with Paul Curran, Dave Spillane, Lachie Thompson and Kynan Coombs all failing to score.
Valley 2’s Dave Hartley and Trent Buck both finished without score in their match against La Salle 1, with Hartley having the added honour of being taken LBW on his first ball.
Lidsdale’s Blake Bender was taken for a golden duck, caught off the bowling of Steve Bender, in his team’s match against Portland 1.
