At 5pm on Sunday, November 11, Lithgow Highland Pipe Band will gather at the cenotaph in Queen Elizabeth Park, Lithgow, to play ‘The Battle’s O’er’.

They will be joining in with pipe bands not only across Australia but throughout the world to mark the exact time of the signing of the peace treaty to end WWI.
Pipers in the UK will play at 6am – the exact time the Armistice was signed.
The band will begin playing at Queen Elizabeth Park at 4.30pm before marking the 100th anniversary of the signing at 5pm at the cenotaph.
