The Lithgow and District Workmen’s Club held their annual fashion parade, with 22 women and five men participating.
This year was a bit different for the club, who allowed everyone that attended to cast a vote for their ‘best dressed’.
Winners included:
- First place female: Tina Giokaris
- Second place female: Michelle Terry
- First place male: Rod Vebel
- Second place male: Matt McManus
“I want to give a big thank you on behalf of the club to those who attended and got all dressed up, it is much appreciated,” General Manager Geoff Wheeler said.

Another place that was hitting it off was the Commercial Hotel who had around 45 guests participating in games, best dressed and more fun activities by organisers Rhonda Collins and Debbie Cooper.
“It has been a great day with lots of fun being had,” organiser Rhonda Collins said.
“We just want to thank Owen, Lena and Stacey from the Commercial Hotel for supporting this day.”
Money from this event will be going to Lithgow Hospital.
