People gathered in the vibrant setting of the church gardens from 10am-2pm.
Lithgow Uniting Church minister Matthew Trounce said it was a great day for the Beehive Re-Creative Centre to show off some of the work they had been doing through the year.
“There’s quilts, knitting, second hand books, artworks, stalls, cakes and slices, plus it’s a good time of year to show off the gardens,” he said.
People were able to take a tour of the church gardens for a gold coin donation.
There was also live entertainment from the Lithgow Community Choir and The Lithgow-lele’s.
“It’s all about showcasing the items we make and the gardens and getting people interested in joining Beehive,” coordinator for Beehive Re-Creative Centre Lorna Fitzpatrick said.
She also said anyone who was interested in joining the Beehive group for a term or a class could contact the church office on 6351 3134.
