His name is Harold and he is Lithgow’s newest visitor.
With Lithgow Halloween around the corner The Zig Zag Motel and Switchback Restaurant have got among the action and welcomed the very special guest.
Business development manager of Zig Zag Motel Johanna Koleda said Harold was a great initiative to get involved in Halloween festivities with the motel being on the outskirts of town.
“By doing this, we are giving both our staff and our guests some Halloween fun,” Mrs Koleda said.
She also said Harold acted as a creative way of tourism and was a blank canvas.
“We’re always trying to find new ways of being involved with the community.
“Harold represents creating experiences for our guests, because as a business we try to sell an experience for tourism in the town,” she said.

Mrs Koleda also said the motel had competitions that people could enter leading up to the Halloween extravaganza on Saturday, October 27.
There are vouchers for the restaurant and a few trick or treat bowls up for grabs followed by their major giveaway prize drawn on the Saturday.
“Harold is a fun way to promote our business as well as the event and give back to the community even if it’s little competitions like this,” she said.
Harold has been staying at the motel, dining with guests and busy sight-seeing around Lithgow.
If you’re out an about be sure to snap a photo with him, he won’t bite!
