The new shop offers high quality, recycled clothing and accessories at affordable prices.
CEO of Anglican Community Services Grant Millard said it took eight years to make this happen and it was a great initiative.
“We want to be here and have a meaningful presence in the community,” he said.
Mr Millard said the store wanted to focus on children, families and isolated others.
“What we are trying to build is a place where these people can come and our shop is going to help those who are struggling,” he said.
He also said people had real needs and the new Anglicare store would be available to meet them.
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole said the store was a fantastic idea for the Lithgow area.
“I give credit to the Anglican District for this investment, it’s a great initiative,” he said.
Mr Toole urged people to get down to the new Anglicare store and meet the friendly staff and volunteers.
