A total of 48 lady bowlers traveled from as far as Hazlebrook, Oberon and Portland to compete on the day.
The annual gala day has been sponsored by Higgins and Higgins Lawyers for more than 30 years.
First place winners were Lithgow City’s team of Kerri Bernard, Gloria Clarke and Judy Edwards.
Second place was awarded to the Lawson side of Ann Hindmarsh, Anne Williams and Claire Nagel.
Third place went to Pam Warren, Marie Stewart and Betty Newcombe.
Fourth place was claimed by the Portland side of Maree Brown, Pam Pattison and Denise Waters.
The ladies celebrated with a lunch inside the bowling club and a raffle where three prizes were won by Lyn Bulkely, Di Sharp and Margaret Hayes.
A derby match against the Lithgow Workies side is next on the calendar for Lithgow City Bowling Club’s team on Tuesday, October 16.
