None of the three Thompsons are related but all three handled the rain softened course well with the winners of the two ball being Geoff and Dave Thompson who are noted big hitters making light work of the fairways that yielded no run combining to perfection to amass 51 points.
The score was six points better than runners up Brian Giblett and Brad Preston on 46 points.
