First in Year 12 was awarded to Perri Gibbons as Dux for the highest average marks of all subjects combined during Year 12. She was closely followed by Orla McKinney and Hayley Robson, who accepted the Centennial Coal awards for second and third highest average marks overall during Year 12.
The school auditorium was filled with parents, grandparents and friends. All attending were extremely proud of the high standard of recipients that took out a wide array of prestigious, academic, sporting and cultural awards.
Principal Ann Caro congratulated Perri on receiving the Dux Award, sponsored by Thales Australia.

Perri Gibbons and Chloe Anlezark were presented with the Inzitari Zig Zag Motel Award for Business Studies and Hospitality.
The LJ Hooker Award Faculty Awards were presented to: Hayley Robson (Mathematics), Orla McKinney (English), Perri Gibbons (HSIE), Hayley Robson (Science), Eilia Keyhanee (TAS), Orla McKinney (CAPA), Perri Gibbons (PD/H/PE), Bradley McCormick (Support).
Mr Dunn, Year 12 Adviser, congratulated Year 12 on their achievements, especially those who received a special award and the students who achieved academic excellence. Their consistent hard work and classroom performances have been rewarded with this recognition.
To all of Year 12, the school wished them the greatest success in the HSC and whatever path they chose into the future.

Alannah Stoneley (1st), Emilia Keen and Clare Francis (runner-up) were presented with the highly contested Phil Duncan Scholarship Awards. This is an annual scholarship given by ex-student of Lithgow High School Phil Duncan, to “kick start” students into the next chapter of their lives. Mr Duncan generously donates a monetary scholarship every year.

Hayley Robson: University of Notre Dame Australia Award for Outstanding Achievement in Science.
Dylan Sheaves: CSU Faculty of Commerce Award for consistent achievement in business/commerce.
William Auld: University of Newcastle Vice Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence.
Chloe Anlezark: Inzitari Family Zig Zag Motel Award – Hospitality.
Perri Gibbons: Inzitari Family Zig Zag Motel Award – Business Studies.
Zac Arkley-Smith and Kelsie Clarke: Citizenship Award sponsored by EnergyAustralia for outstanding student leadership and commitment to the school.
Emilia Keen: Lithgow Aged Care Nursing Scholarship.

Hayden Cox: Most Outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student.
Zac Arkley-Smith: Lithgow Musical Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts.

Dane Guffogg: Helen Frith trophy for consistent effort in sport.
Kristy-Lee Garland: Trevor Winterbottom Memorial Award for services to hockey.
