The team also offer School Leavers Employment Support (SLES) – it’s a two year program which helps the smooth transition from the classroom to the workplace. There’s no reason people with different abilities can’t be a valuable member of the workforce, if they choose to be.
When it comes to the kids, Glenray offer a skills learning club for those aged 6 to 11 years old. Every Saturday fortnight and during the school holidays, a qualified teacher runs a fun learning experience called Kids Club, where kids can have a ball enjoying a range of activities, or learn valuable skills like road safety or how to be a great friend.
For the teens, Glenray’s youth group is held every Friday night, where a team member hosts card games, cooks a delicious dinner and helps forge bonds between teenagers.
