The volunteer members of the Wallerawang branch of the Central Acclimatisation Society are again hosting a DPI Gone Fishing Day event at Lake Wallace on Sunday, October 14.

The group has been successful in organising some brood trout for release at Lake Wallace, scheduled for Monday, October 8 at 11am.
The group is hoping to organise children from some of the local schools to be involved with this release in preparation for the Gone Fishing Australia Day event.
Gone Fishing Day registrations will open at 7.30am and will run until 4pm, costing $5 per person.

There will be a free fly casting clinic, free kids activities, lucky door prizes, raffle prizes and a barbecue lunch.
Look out for some very special guests on the day, which will include “Aussie Fly Fisher” Josh Hutchins and current official NSW overall champion and river fly fishing champion Emilio Caggiano.
