But, hidden away in stacks away from visitors, is a huge and long unseen trove that the public will be able to browse this week.
Even better, you will have the opportunity to take some of them home with you.
The book fair will start on Wednesday, September 19 and continue until October 6. It will be open during library business hours and all items will be on sale for 50 cents.

Acting coordinator of Lithgow Library Sharon Lewis estimated 12,000 volumes were stored and needed to be cleared.
“We’ve brought them with us from the old stack,” she said.
“But our local historic archive collection is growing and more space is needed for that.”
A huge amount of aged non-fiction books will be on offer, as well as history and literature.
Mrs Lewis said there would be a very varied collection being put out for display, including some quite old volumes. People were welcome to come in, browse and buy.
It will make the staff very sad to part with such a large volume of – well, volumes – but they looked forward to seeing them going off to good homes within the community.
