Following a season of high European wasp activity and community interest, Lithgow City Council has organised a free information session to assist property owners safely manage this pest on their properties.

“There were near misses last season with residents and European wasps,” mayor Cr Stephen Lesslie said.
“I encourage all residents interested in learning how to safely manage and live with wasps to come along to this free information session.”

It will be held from 4.30pm-5.30pm on September 17 at the Lithgow Library meeting room. RSVP Friday, September 14.
The one hour information session will be presented by a local pest control expert from Wolfman Pest Control. Participants will be provided with information on safety and management techniques followed by a question and answer session.
