This year’s Lithgow Halloween on Saturday, October 27 has a jam-packed entertainment program, with the great 80’s band The Cockroaches announced as the headline act.

You may recognise several of the members of the band – they have been known to run around in multi-coloured skivvies in their time.
“It’s kind of like we are playing a big private party,” lead singer Paul Field said.
“We’ll do a whole bunch of Cockroaches songs from our albums as well as songs that we’ve always loved to play as well as some modern songs as we’ve got some youngsters playing with us.”
The one man in Australia who was actually paid to sleep on the job with The Wiggles, Jeff Fatt, is excited to come along.

There will be lots of entertainment for the whole family with two live music stages, Ghost Train rides with Lachlan Valley Rail, markets, high flying aerial shows, street performers and amusement rides for the young and brave.
Join in the street parade with the Samba Trombada drumming band in your best costume and take part in the best dressed competition.
“We hope to see lots of people in Main Street for Lithgow Halloween and the fantastic costumes that is a highlight each year” said Lithgow general manager, Graeme Faulkner.
Council’s director of economic development and environment Andrew Muir said the support from all the event’s sponsors was much appreciated.
