Lithgow Public School will be among the schools to take part in the 2018 School Spectacular, to be staged at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney’s Olympic Park on Friday and Saturday, November 23 and 24.
They will be joining more than 5000 stars including 40 featured performers, an incredible 100-piece symphony orchestra, stage band, 2700-voice choir, 2300 amazing dancers, the D’Arts Ensemble disability program, the Aboriginal Dance Company, puppets and an indispensable behind-the-scenes team.
Schools Spectacular Creative Director, Sonja Sjolander has no doubt that with the Western NSW contribution, this year’s Schools Spectacular will live up to its theme: The Greatest.
“Together as one we shine brighter,” Ms Sjolander said.
“That is our greatest strength.
“This year’s show has moment after moment of greatness.
“There truly is something for everyone.
“From incredible solo moments to powerful massed forces, the Schools Spectacular will sweep you off your feet.
“You cannot help but be inspired by these incredible young artists each giving their all.
“They’re the greatest.”
In addition to the show, the tens of thousands who will come to Qudos Bank Arena for this year’s four performances, will also be entertained by SpecFest which presents a carnival of displays, food and talented performances in the area outside the arena.
