Many of these organs were on special platforms that used to rise from the bowels of the cinema to an elevated position in front of or at the side of the stage.
They were also used at places like Blackpool Tower Ballroom in England. Australia also had many city theatres and some still exist. Come and enjoy the music of these great instruments and hear about the history of the Wurlitzer.
It will screen on Sunday, August 26 at 2pm.
