Lithgow VIEW Club’s August meeting was given a Welcome to Country from one of its special guests, Aunty Kym Cama, before Sonia Cox spoke about how the Aboriginal community had come together to help the children and their families in the area with better health options, safe places to play and meet for barbecues once a month.

Then the club presented Sue O’Hare donated stationery for the Learning for Life children in the area.
Upcoming events:
- September 1: Sausage sizzle, raffle and cake stall at Bunnings.
- September 12: Millers fashion parade.
- October 17: Bus trip to Nan Nein Temple in Wollongong.
The next VIEW Club meeting will be held on September 12, trading table V, X, Y.
