There was a mix of returning and new faces to the committee, which will once again be headed by Angela O’Connor as president.
Other representatives appointed for the 2018-2019 year are Johan Nilsson (vice president), Sharon Holt (treasurer), Lorraine Roebuck (secretary), Rebecca Hamment, Josh Logan and Rhonda Collins (committee members).

In her president’s report for the year, Ms O’Connor celebrated wins, including strong growth in membership and efforts made to broaden the presence of the Chamber.
She stated that in the coming year one of her priorities was to see the relationship between Lithgow City Council and the Chamber strengthen.
“I hope to see Chamber representation on all relevant council committees so that we can play a part in driving outcomes and facilitating positive communication for ideas and feedback. Collaboration can only enhance outcomes for all parties,” she said.
Ms O’Connor said better relationships and representation was “critical to the communication of knowledge and ideas” and that the Chamber “needed to harness the knowledge contained in our membership and devolve functions from the executive to the members”.
