Helicopters will be buzzing between September 3-5 in conjunction with tree removal around the Zig Zag railway tunnels.
The work, to be carried by Plateau Trees on behalf of Sydney Trains, will include helicopters assisting in the removal of debris from the clearing.
Early works are expected to begin on August 28-September 1. The major works that require the use of the helicopter will take place between September 3-5.
“A large quantity of mulch will be generated from this project and will be available to the general public upon request,” a Plateau Trees spokesperson said.
“If anyone is interested in a full truck load of mulch they can contact Plateau Trees on 9939 5350.”
