There are a host of dogs looking for new homes at the Lithgow Animal Shelter at the moment, so if you have a lonely place in your family that is doggie-sized, now if a good time to check them out.

There is Audrey, pictured above, a female Bullmastiff, 1-2 years old, and the female Whippet cross, pictured left, approximately two years old. Both are available for adoption now.
Or you can meet Bella, who is looking for her forever home. A very well mannered girl, she is an eight-year-old Collie cross. She is desexed and microchipped.
If you are interested in finding out more about one of these dogs or cats, the Lithgow Animal Shelter is open Monday to Friday from 3pm-4pm for viewings.
You can also visit council’s ‘Animal Shelter Facebook’ page for available adoptions, and lost animals.
