Near minus temperatures, strong winds and drizzle along with speedy greens and testing pin placements. Once again the club would like to thank Zig Zag Motel for their ongoing sponsorship of this major event.

The scratch score Winter Cup winner of 69 by Bill Oldfield which was a brilliant round in the tough conditions. Runner up was Darren Hunter on 77. The handicap Winter Cup champion was Gary Keen on 70 nett with runner up Geoff Wheeler one shot back on 71 nett.

Winners: A grade: Max Nightingale, Rod Bright and Ross Harrington. B grade: Mark Willmott, Graham Dean and Jeff Geddes. C grade: Tom Jennings, Warren Kennedy and Ken Liu. Nearest to the pin winners Ross Harrington (2), Max Nightingale and Rod Bright. The Friday nine hole competition was won by Trevor Cameron, runner up Mark Willmott. Ball winners were Howie Fisher, Josh Jones, Paul Stewart and Jeff Geddes.
