The young players were taken through warm up drills, ball skills and shooting drills with the Swift players.
“Having the girls here inspires the young girls and encourages them to work on their skills,” Lithgow netball coaching coordinator, Denise Nightingale said.
The younger aspiring players were feeling inspired and excited to learn from the Swift players, Lithgow netball player Jenna Sheather said.
“It’s fun and good because we can learn new skills to use for netball and it is such a great opportunity to learn from talented players,” Sheather said.
Having done these sessions for a number of years, Ms Nightingale was glad they could organise another one this year.
“Both girls grew up in the country so it just shows our girls that they can go to a higher level if they put the effort in,” Ms Nightingale said.
The young girls were offered the chance to get autographs, photos and merchandise after the session.
