THE Bureau of Meteorology has predicted snow for the higher-altitude parts of the Central Tablelands region this Sunday, July 8.

According to the bureau’s graphic, the Central Tablelands near Lithgow, Oberon, Shooters Hill and Jenolan Caves will see snow, along with the summit and slopes of Mount Canobolas near Orange.
Snow fell as recently as June 17 in the Central Tablelands region, which saw the eventual cancellation of the entire Group 10 Rugby League round.
Forecast for Lithgow indicates 7 degrees for Sunday and a low of -1, while Oberon is only set to reach 4 degrees and hit a low of -3.
