If you had a frost-covered yard and ice covered windscreen, you were not alone.
Icy winds contributed to low temperatures which, according to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, put Lithgow among the coldest towns across all of NSW and the ACT.
According to a spokesperson from Weatherzone, Thredbo was the coldest area across all of Australia on Sunday, June 24.

The -7 degree reading was taken at Marangaroo during the early morning on Sunday. It was the coldest temperature recorded in June for Lithgow.
Armidale also reached a low of -7 degrees. In the coming week, the Bureau does not predict a repeat of Sunday’s low, but Lithgow residents can expect a shower or two on Thursday, June 28, with approximately 2-8mm of rainfall expected in the morning.
