Rod featured two cars at the event, his Ford Falcon XTGT and his Mazda RX7.
He entered both cars in the MC Hammer hot laps event over the weekend.
At the same meeting, Lithgow’s Michael Palmer was acting as pit crew for the Tony Pallas team Jaguar XJS.
Tony competed in the heritage touring car series. The team finished with a 11th, two 13th places and a fourth place in the group A race over the weekend.
The Muscle Car Masters has been running for 13 years and is a tribute to those who raced and loved cars with plenty of horsepower.
It is known for its high-octane racing, as well as giving car lovers to get up close to their favourite cars and drivers.
