One of these this week was Dave Thompson who with his length off the tee over powered the course to record the best stableford round of the day.
Thompson finished with 41 points to take out A grade with the runner-up Paul Bosman hot on his heels on 40 points.
Best A grade scratch score went to Bill Oldfield with a brilliant 68.
B grade went to Simon Mobbs on 38 points with the runner up being David Warren on 37 points. Best scratch score in this grade was Peter Hall on 85.
C grade was won by Paul Bailey on 37 who also took out the best scratch score with his 92.
Runner up was Tom Jennings with 36 points.
Nearest the pins were Bill Oldfield, Peter Thompson, Andrew Burton, Harrison Bender and Tom Jennings.
The ball competition went to Bill Oldfield, Rod Bright, Steve Hall, Peter Hall, Peter Thompson, Tom Jennings, Trevor Cameron and Andrew Burton.
Friday’s nine hole competition saw Brian Giblett give a master class with the putter to amass 30 points to take the major voucher.
Balls went to Dave Duroux and Brian Judge.
This Saturday’s event will be the popular monthly medals that will again be sponsored by Ron Evans Painting.
