Drought-affected farmers will have yet another thing to worry about with a cold front forecast to “shoot across the state” this weekend.

State Drought Coordinator Pip Job issued the warning to those in colder climates with cold temperatures, showers and strong northwesterly winds expected across parts of the Central and Southern Tablelands.

“Ninety-nine per cent of NSW is in drought now as of our latest combined drought indicator report,” Ms Job said.

“We recognise that you're under significant stress just in trying to maintain your animals this weekend but reach out to Local Land Services.

“They can provide you with feeding assistance for livestock during this time,” Ms Job said.
