It will be a blast from the past this Saturday, as the Portland Colts host Kandos in a special Old Boys round.

The strips of yesteryear will be brought out for the game to be held at Portland’s Kremer Park from 1pm, with the Fillies to be followed by the Colts at 2.30pm.

The Colts will be wearing a vintage strip from the 1998 grand final won by Portland. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game to support the ‘Moving Marrow for Jude’ appeal.

After the day’s events everyone is encouraged to attend the Portland RSL for some snacks, drinks and a few yarns at 6pm followed by a band at 8pm until late.

Hope to see a big turnout for what should be a great day.

NOTE: The Lithgow Mercury on Friday, June 15 stated the day would raise funds for the Simon Williams charity. The Simon Williams charity was the recipient of last year’s fundraising Old Boys round.
