Club Championships have all finished with the Club Triples played on May 31. Fay King’s team of Fay, Anne Anderson and Irene Watkins were up against Ina Hunter’s team of Ina, Cheryl Wotton and Beryl Baker. The score was 29-12 for Ina’s team with some beautiful bowls played.
Ladies’ social club had a very enjoyable luncheon at Portland’s Coronation Hotel, which was beautiful and a big thank you to Kerri for organising our lovely luncheon.
Social bowls were played on May 29. Two games of two bowl triples were played with Fay King, Gloria Davidson and Pam Warren the winners.
Social bowls were also played on June 5. On the trophy day we had 18 players brave the weather and only got to play 10 ends before the rain set in.
After three games of two bowl triples, the winners on the day were Inga Irvine, Lesley Wright and Gloria Davidson with a deserving win.
