The Wallerawang Public School hall was filled with students and family members on Tuesday, June 5, in support of Wallerawang Public School’s public speaking finalists.
As part of the public speaking competition each child at the school presented a speech to their class, from which three were selected to present to the grade.
The final round on Tuesday saw the three top students from each grade present their speech in front of the whole school.
“The speeches were delivered with confidence, entertaining and informing the audience on a variety of topics,” teacher Donna Dogger said.
“Judges Mr Geoff Welsman, Mrs Beverley Nancarrow and Mrs Katrena Fraser had the challenging task of judging the finalists from each grade to determine the placing.”
Lilly Dellabosca, Daniel Rose, Blake Rose, Alexandra McLoughlan, Keeley Collins, Toby Zorz and Emily Reeve were named winners in their grades.
